Both quinoa and corn are naturally gluten-free and are controlled so that there can be no cross-contamination, therefore these cakes are suitable for gluten-free diets, too. Quinoa is a pseudo-cereal with a high content in proteins with high biological value, as, unlike other cereals, it has all of the essential amino-acids which make these cakes a very nutritional product.
